The introduction of the laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the late 1980’s revolutionized general surgery. Since then Minimally Invasive Surgeons have successfully applied advanced laparoscopic techniques in managing almost all of the conditions involving the abdominal solid organs.
Dr.Puneet Gupta have great experience in the surgical treatment of disorders of the solid abdominal organs. Laparoscopic treatment is offered whenever possible in order to increase recovery time and minimize pain and scarring. The laparoscopic solid organ procedures include splenectomy, adrenalectomy, pancreatectomy, and donor nephrectomy. Common surgical conditions of the abdominal solid organs include:
